Instagram Gold Plus vs Instagram Gold 2 vs BT Insta Gold

Cutting through the confusing names: Gold, Gold Plus, Gold 2, BT Insta Gold and GB Instagram.

Why there are so many Instagram Gold names

Type the name into Google and the suggestions explode: Instagram Gold Plus, Instagram Gold 2 APK, BT Insta Gold download. It is natural to ask whether these are different apps, upgrades or just clones.

Based on what I could find, the answer is mixed. Several download sites describe Instagram Gold and Instagram Gold Plus as two packages of the same modified-Instagram project, but none of them explains clearly what separates them. I found no reliable source describing an app called “Instagram Gold 2” or “BT Insta Gold”, so I would treat those as search variants rather than separate verified products.

Instagram Gold Plus

“Plus” is a popular suffix in the modded-Instagram world (Insta Plus, Instagram Plus, Gold Plus). In general it signals a build that bundles extra options. In the case of Instagram Gold, the core feature list stays the same: downloads, stealth viewing, translation and no ads. If you are looking for the main app, the Instagram Gold APK download on our home page already includes the InstaGold menu with themes, favorite pages and a video splitter.

Instagram Gold 2 APK

“Instagram Gold 2” most likely comes from people searching for a second, newer version, or the clone package that lets you run a second copy of the app. The clone idea is real: Instagram Gold supports a companion package so you can use two accounts at once. A separately branded “Gold 2” app is not something I could verify, so be careful with any file that uses that name.

BT Insta Gold

“BT” shows up in searches such as bt insta gold download. It is not a name I could tie to a known developer or feature set. It could be a typo, an abbreviation, or a rebrand by a third-party site. When a name cannot be traced to a source, the safe move is to avoid it and stick to a download page you can verify.

How it compares with GB Instagram and Insta Pro

Instagram Gold	GB Instagram	Insta Pro
Interface	Stock Instagram look	Heavy customisation	Stock plus extras
Media saving	Yes	Yes	Yes
Stealth viewing	Yes	Yes	Yes
Translation	Built in	Varies	Varies
Official status	Unofficial	Unofficial	Unofficial

All of them break Instagram’s terms. If you want a simple, familiar interface with practical extras, Gold is a reasonable pick; if you want endless tweaking, GB Instagram is the usual choice.

Which one should you choose?

Want the simplest option? Go with the main Instagram Gold APK.
